Mir is a CDA licensed psychologist with a strong foundation in evidence-based assessment and intervention for adolescents and adults, including families. She holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology (Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology) with First Class Honours from the University of Auckland, where she also completed a Graduate Diploma in Psychology. She is additionally trained in Psychological First-Aid and Trauma-informed Care.
Mir brings strong clinical experience across in-person and online mental health settings, including collaborative work within multidisciplinary teams. Her work centers around holistic understanding of emotional, behavioral, and cognitive concerns. This includes assessment of emotional difficulties (including stress, anxiety, depression) and neuropsychological concerns (including ASD, ADHD, TBI). Mir’s approach integrates psychological assessment and cognitive data to inform diagnostic formulation and treatment plans grounded in a comprehensive understanding of individual needs.
Alongside her clinical work, Mir has experience in crisis response services, academic research and teaching, and public mental health education. She has delivered psychological support in high-pressure settings, contributed digital mental health initiatives, and presented her work at various academic and professional forums.
